Lena is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Master of Dietetic Practice and from La Trobe University with a Bachelor in Food and Nutrition. Lena has a special interest in metabolic health and experience in weight management, diabetes management, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), heart disease, and aged care nutrition, working with diverse population groups in a community setting. In addition, Lena has completed the accredited Clinical Dietetics for Bariatric Surgery course through Dietitians Australia as well as the Management of Obesity course through the University of Melbourne.
Lena believes in a personalised, outcomes-based approach, tailoring her care to fit each individual’s lifestyle and unique needs. Her approach combines practical, sustainable dietary advice with a unique blend of empathy and understanding, shaped by her own life experiences, including raising four children, two of whom have special needs. This has instilled in her a gentle approach and the ability to connect with individuals on a deeply meaningful level.
Lena also has a deep passion for culinary nutrition, where she loves exploring how to make nutritious food both delicious and accessible. She enjoys helping clients develop a positive relationship with food, encouraging them to embrace healthy eating in a practical, balanced and enjoyable way.
